The EWEC database acts as store house of business information for business matching, networking and information sharing that provides business information to the business and investors in promoting trade and investment in 11 provinces of four countries namely Danang, Hue, and Quang tri provinces in Vietnam, Savannakhet province in Laos, Mukdahan, Kalasin, Khon Kaen, Phitsanulok and Tak provinces in Thailand, Kayin and Mon States in Myanmar.

The database is also a tool to present the company's products/services to offer more visibility and to establish company-to-company (C2C) and investor-to-company (I2C) business contact in the global market for the company's business expansion and growth. The EWEC database is part of two year frame project on Capacity Development of Provincial CCIs, FTI and BAs in the EWEC under the Japan ASEAN Integration Fund (JAIF).

EWEC Data base offers :

Components of the Data Base comprised of two main components;

a) Company profiles included CCIs, Business Associations and it's members' profile which comprises name, addresses, telephone numbers, location, type of service / products the business provides, number of employees and related business information. The information displays in text format and image files (photos of products, certificates/awards, owner/CEO photo and any other detail that company provided).

b) Provincial business profile designs for making decision faster and closer which comprises of categories information on provincial overview, investment opportunities, macro economic indicators, infrastructure facilities, population and GDP, R&D center, natural resources, business environment, financial institutions, business associations, and other services.
